A couple of years ago, there was a story in the Washington Post about a young man named Joe, as I recall. He was from Fairfax County, Va, was an MNF, and had a very unfortunate admissions cycle and ended up not being accepted anyhwere. The story was discussed on this site. I was wondering if anyone had an update on him.

Says he was going to focus on Notre Dame next time. One Notre Dame student named Joseph Robinson chose to be in the [online directory](<a href=“https://apps.nd.edu/webdirectory/directory.cfm?pid=(<("3_->Y)M(%20 ]online”>https://apps.nd.edu/webdirectory/directory.cfm?pid=(<("3_->Y)M(%20 ), but I can’t access his webpage (maybe because I’m not a student yet). Maybe it’s him. However, he was already rejected and had a 3.4 GPA, so it’s not very likely.

Thanks BillyMc. That could be him. Good news!

I’m willing to bet that he’s a student somewhere, at least. But I couldn’t actually turn up any followups on his story.

the joseph conner robinson that shows up in the directory (and on facebook as a notre dame student) would seem to be from holland, mi, not from virginia. i don’t think it’s the same young man.
