For schools like Andover and Exeter, what happens after the application deadline?
Is it similar to that of colleges, where AOs gather around a table to look at an application, eventually voting on whether the applicant was accepted, waitlisted, or rejected? (if you look at videos on youtube, you may understand what I mean) Or does it follow a completely different system?
Apparently, your interviewer will almost “represent” your case to the other AOs. is this true?
Can you link me some of the videos?
It’s basically the same.
http://www.andover.edu/Admission/DeansJournal/Pages/NoTableBigEnough.aspx I found this. It’s from a while ago, but it’s a blog post from Andover’s Dean of Admissions about their process.
They read through each file several times and provisionally admit applicants. I think that they then go over them again, but I’m not sure.
@applejuice007 Thanks for posting!

There was this old thread that talked about the same thing… I originally found it after alot of digging…
Any of the older CC’ers know what I am talking about?
ooh, if anyone can find a link to that, that would be amazing!
