This is a general question for all colleges, but given that each college probably has its own unique system, I wanted to ask specific questions about Princeton’s on this subforum.
Do the admissions officers get informed about your update? Does your app move to the top of the system? Do the admissions officers have a way of checking if your update is there without opening your file (like a red notification sign or something on someone’s file)? If not, do admissions officers read each and every file during the waitlist process?
Basically, can updates go entirely ignored without an adcom knowing they were sent if they’re not interested in an applicant?
I have this sinking, anxious feeling that my app update won’t ever be read tbh.
