i am fed up with ap chem. i dont even know why i took it. its the most boring subject to me. chemistry and ap chem gave me my only B’s so far in high school, **** YOU CHEMISTRY. i also dont feel like studying for the ap chem exam because i am not expecting a score higher than a 3. thats why i just want to ditch the whole ap chem exam alltogether.

…then you don’t take it.

However, a B is good in a AP subject you have no interest in. So might as well take one last step and beat the hell out of the test.

ap chem test is ridiculous. I got an A in the class and only got a 3 in the test. looking back now it all seems so easy.

You signed up for the course. You signed up for the test.

You may regret those decisions now, but I agree with Amandeep1. You should see this through to the end and do the best you can on the AP test. The only person that you’re going to be hurting by ditching the exam is yourself.

Be careful about ditching a test-- your school may not give you credit for taking the course if you don’t take the test. However, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. If you don’t do as well as you would like on the test, you don’t have to report the score. That part is up to you. Colleges only want to know what courses you have taken, as far as AP goes. They don’t base acceptance on the scores. And, if you are already admitted to college, if you are a senior, then it doesn’t matter anyway.

What happens if i ditch my AP Chem exam?

Ans: you will ditch your ap grade (and possibly some of your admission chances)

why not just buckle up, and give it your best shot. Giving it your best is much more gratifying that quitting. In the future, you will probably encounter a difficult subject in college, or maybe a difficult situation in life. Persevere, grind it out, give it your best, and you come out a better, stronger person each time.
