What happens if I don't get into my waitlisted classes?

<p>I’m an incoming freshman nanoengineering major.
I’m 5th on the waitlist for both calc 20a and Chem 6a, but I’m 31st on the waitlist for Nano 15. I know they opened up a new section that can accommodate 60 people, but I can’t switch to that section due to the discussion time for my math class. What happens if I can’t get into that class??</p>

<p>Also, any tips on what to do for books? Is there a good/cheap site to rent from, or any places on campus? </p>

<p>I think you have a decent shot into math, an alright chance for chemistry but I really don’t know about NANO 15. Try to switch math sections so it doesn’t clash with your other class.</p>

<p>For books, I like buying from UCSD students. Try uloop and postyourbook.com</p>
