What happens if you submit early action application but have missing documents?

So I submitted an early action application a week ago. My application is all complete and submitted, and I’ve requested for my transcript to my counselors, but I’m afraid I might have asked for the transcript too late for early action. The school I applied to is Kennesaw State, and their application AND documents are both due on November 3rd.

I don’t know if it varies by schools but I know my high school takes 15 business days(~3 weeks) to process transcripts.

What happens if the early action deadline passes with my application submitted but my documents not submitted? Am I able to just automatically pass it over to regular decision, or will the application be deleted from data and I will have to submit a new application for regular?

It will likely me moved to RD but only the college can give you the correct answer, call them.

It depends on the school. Some have a grace period for supporting documents.

And they don’t always say so in their website. In fact, MOST schools have a grace period.
