What happens if....

what happens if a school (such as Boston University), requires andSAT I and two SAT II’s OR just the ACT for admissions and you decide to take all three tests?
will it be better to get a good score SATII and mediocre SAT II scores or just a good ACT score?(lets say the SAT I and ACT score are equal)

Also, would the college just choose the best option for you if you decide to send all test scores? Thanks

Despite what colleges often say about considering this score or that, from what I’ve gathered from speaking to admissions officers (not at Boston U., granted) most colleges use a totally holistic admissions process and what ends up counting is what “looks best”.
