I was placed on academic probation once before, actually a year ago. And now I face academic disqualification. But I have no idea as to what’s going to happen. I already made a appointment to see a academic advisor in my deans office (before they send me any kind of email) but what should I expect? Do I prepare a appeal letter, contract, what will happen when I meet with them?

you should expect them to talk to you and tell you exactly what you need to do regarding whatever you want. chill.

I was faced with academic disqualification, but since I met with an advisor and explained myself, they allowed me to continue as long as I clear out 2/3rds of my -18.8 deficit points by the end of this winter quarter. And according to my advisor, if I get a B in one of my class and a C in the another (I have 4 classes total, but two of them are being taken pass/no pass), that clears out 2/3rds of my deficit points. Even better if I get As in them.

And definitely prepare an appeal letter. In the email letter I got informing me I was to be dismissed, it told me to bring a one-page appeal letter with me to advising.
