<p>I have no idea why my verbal score was so low and I already had it sent to schools (my first choice is an ivy). How much will this hurt me?</p>
<p>most ivy schools superscore so there’s no need to worry. Usually it’s just the big state universities that take the highest composite score.</p>
<p>I faced the same situation too and i totally freaked out. my june cr score was a 690 and my oct cr score decreased to a 650 but apparently its not that big of an issue.</p>
<p>Nothing will happen. In most cases, the admissions officers won’t even see your lower scores.</p>
