I’m taking a lot of harder classes this year and need an easier class and don’t know what to take. I’m going into something math and science involved- maybe engineering. I could take astronomy; I’d be more interested in it and it’d be more relevant to what I’m going into, but it has a bigger workload. I could also take theory of learning; it’s a very easy English class that would be fun with a light workload and also I only will have the minimum number of English credits (4) to graduate. Which one would be a better idea in your opinion?
To clarify: without theory of learning I will only have 4 credits of English and with theory of learning I will have 4.5 credits of English; taking this class will stop me from doing the bare minimum. At the end of high school, I will have 6 credits of science without astronomy and 6.5 with astronomy.
Either class sounds fine, and most people only have four credits of English.
Agreed, either of those could be good. Just judging by those two options, if recommend the English class, since you said astronomy would have a lot of work.
However, if I were you, I would take a fun, art-based class. Pottery? Woodworking? Photography? Classes such as these are fun, rigorous in their own ways, and will give you a fun break in the day. I’d look into it if I were you.
Flip a coin; either is fine. Just choose the class that you will enjoy more. Don’t pick a class because you think it’s “impressive,” because it will be viewed as impressive by nobody.
