What hooks could make you irresistable?

Some of it is pretty funny isn’t it? I mean stuff you just wouldn’t think about until you hear them say it and then it is wow…how’d they come up w/ that?

but you don’t say shrimp…you spell shrimp but in your pronounciation there isn’t the Sh sound…it is sr as if you were going to say sirong…but you say srimp…I love it really. It is sweeter and more delicate as are your shrimp.

I have heard “srimp” and the most awful “shrimps”, but I just say “shrimp”.

I see…well at least you admit that “shrimps” is pretty awful. It reminds me of people who say “anyways” but they don’t acknowledge that it is an equal to “anyhows”…that just slays me.

I love the way Southerners talk. Its so cute at times.

Shrimps is terrible as is anyways. Or deers or fishes or anything like that, unnecessary plurals.

sheeps? cattles? offsprings?

I love how English people talk (no offense scarlet - I have a few German friends as well) - they have a cute little name for everything!

Apparently the current US trend is

**.

You will hear it, read it and nobody is even embarassed or thinks twice. If you mention it they just don’t get it…really a new low. You see it all the time on CC.

I have used “anyways” but just for effect, kind of like “ain’t” although I don’t speak like that.

No problem. I generally enjoy the “English” english language. I find it quite amusing. At least more than German.

I agree with the anyways. I said it once and I really wanted to shoot myself, it was painful to hear myself say. But so many people say it, and other various grammatical slip ups, who have such high ambitions for themselves. Slightly ironic there.

so do you use “anyhows” for affect also? Or may you use “anywheres”??

No way, to either. That would be pushing it!

That would be pretty funny. I’m just waiting.

I beg to differ vis-

I have found German guys to be quite fit and very attractive.

Yes, that is what you picture. Its just such an ugly language at time, that is overly specific and technical. Drives me mad!

the men would be discussing wursts…not sausages I do believe.

In addition to ale or lager, which one?

Some german men are okay. Others are fat and drunk. But most of them are okay- albeit a little rude at time. I prefer the Swiss.

They would be discussing wurst and weissbier most likely or helles.

Doppel…mmmmmmmm.
