What I learned from reviewing the UNC Admission File

Did you misunderstand that the poster’s daughter didn’t have the times in the pool, but DID have the academic qualifications??

Hi all, I’ve reviewed my application profile as well. From what I remember, my essay score was around 2.5 or 2.6 out of 4. My course rigor was rated a 7 — I took 7 AP classes. My GPA rating was also a 7/10, with an unweighted GPA of 3.7 and a weighted GPA of 4.2. My high school doesn’t report class rank.

My extracurriculars were rated a 7. I participated in a few diversity-related activities like SDLC, and I also won two state math championships. Additionally, I placed 1st in a national math competition — while there were multiple perfect scores, I was the only one from my state ¶ with a perfect score. I also ranked in the top 1% in another math competition.

Both AOs who reviewed my application recommended admission.
