What I need to get into med school?

Hello people of the internet!!!
Im going to start my freshmen year of college Fall2015 and I want to know the do’s and dont’s of med school admissions. I made a mistakes in the 9th grade and as a result I want to prepare for what med school admissions will amount too. I have done a lot of research and I want to go to one of the Ivy League schools for my MD. I also know that admissions are not guaranteed so I am mentally preparing for the possibility of rejection (even though I am determined). My major is Biochemistry with (maybe) a minor in math. Any input would be helpful, Thank You!!

One thing you’ll find out is that “ivy league” med schools are so different as to be meaningless. The “name” cachet of med schools is extremely lessened. The best med school? The one that ACCEPTS you.

And there are already many threads on this forum with basics for pre-meds. Just do a key word search and they will come up.
