there are some colleges that had the deadline on 1 may. is there any chance I can get enrolled if i apply now? or would it be wasting money? they are really safe schools, usually ppl dont submit their sat scores to them.

Can you give an example? State schools? I know that Community colleges will take people practically on the eve of a semester’s start. But again, their mission is to do that.

Can you also give an example of what your “reach” schools would be?

greenvision, unless the schools are rolling admissions, the May 1 deadline that you see is for accepted students to reply to the school. Did you already apply? Have you been accepted, turned them down and now changed your mind?

Or are you talking about applying for the first time?

actually i applied in march to a rolling admissions school. because i was in pakistan i couldnt give the sat on time, so i told them to hold on. they said yes. now i am thinking of applying to more safeties, they are also rolling.

according to websites(princeton review, collegeboard) all colleges (even priority) is a safety(the ones i applied to). so?

If you don’t think you’ll love the school you got into then it’s worth a shot…e-mail the school and ask them if they are still accepting applications.
