What if my new school doesn't offer the same foreign language I already began the course for?

Okay, so here’s the thing: (I explained it, but if this gives you a headache, the shortened question is at the bottom!)

Last year, I transferred for the second semester of my junior year from a very small, very limited rural school because I had some personal issues that I was dealing with that I could not work out while there. I transferred to an online charter school, the largest public school in the state of Georgia with 14,000 students and growing. Because I am now a senior, I have decided that I might want to pursue transferring again to another school so that I can salvage what opportunity I have left for a traditional graduation. My parents are very supportive. At my current school, I am taking German with part one being this semester and part two being next semester. I really enjoy German and so I’d like to see it through. However, the school that I was thinking of transferring to in order to only offers Chinese, Spanish, and French and I’m not sure that I’ll have the schedule capacity to take two more foreign language classes if I have to switch. Additionally, I cannot transfer back to my old school because, amongst other reasons, they only offer Spanish and I’ve already inquired semi-seriously – they won’t be able to accommodate it.

So let’s say that, in January, I transfer to this other school with the three foreign languages; What will the situation be at that time since they do not offer my foreign language? Can my transfer be denied? It’s worth mentioning that this school is not in my same district or county – it’s in the district where I grew up and though I haven’t lived there since eighth grade, I would love to be able to graduate with my childhood friends and the friends that I made as I got older as well.

Your help is very much appreciated. Obviously, I’ve got no prior experience with a situation such as this and a concern has been that transferring so close to graduation is not good, but I really don’t mind. Much like my first transfer, I have debated my options for the last few months and feel that this choice would be beneficial for me, so my only concern is that everything goes smoothly.

I’d check to see if you can continue to take it online. (pretend i said something inspiring in
german here pls) I hope it all works out!

Contact the school and indicate you’re currently in a Georgia public online district but would like to resume attending a “brick and mortar” public school, are taking German and would like to continue taking German through that school exclusively (and would take all other classes at their high school), would they be able to accomodate you or would they require you to take a second foreign language?

No, but because of what you said, I just remembered that most schools will accommodate a student with dual enrollment through the state-run (as opposed to K12-run, where I currently am) online schools. I had friends in my home district and a couple of neighboring districts who did that.

I’m so thankful for your comment! It totally slipped my mind.
