i might be scaring myself, but when i was done writing and doing tons of edits to my essay, i realized that my FINAL paragraph was on the LAST page. i tried to add/delete things such that the half a paragraph would be one page and the other half on the other. i cant think of any way to change it. what if the adcoms lost that FINAL page & paragraph? they’ll be like what?! why does this end with “Maybe I don’t need to know.” I murmured drowsily.?

bad conclusion. stamp. REJECTED.

is it ever possible that they will lose my final page and not realize it, especially since that line up there sounds quite like a concluding (in a horrible way) sentence?

I would think that that’s highly improbable considering how specialized the job of being on an admissions committee is.

Also, I believe that some schools are going entirely virtual for their records (online submission downloaded into records, mail applications received and scanned in), so for those schools it’s even less probable (impossible if you don’t do hard-copy submission, possible if there’s a problem between envelope opening and scanning, but…c’mon. Not gonna happen).

You’re getting worried over nothing, in my opinion. If you’re going to stress about anything, stress about something that was a personal problem and fixable, and fix it in the future you.
