<p>As I posted earlier ( Yesterday ) my daughter wants to go to Kings College. I have been told about all monies being able to go into loans., but I do not know if that is true??? What do you do if you never saved for college, can she still go? I have a considerable amount of debt which I know is not a consideration in the FAFSA form. If you can not afford to squeeze anymore money out of your pocket what do you do?</p>
<p>First, I would use one of the one line estimators to see what the efc is projected to be.
Second, I would widen the pool of colleges, particularly looking at schools where your daughter would near the top of the applicant pool. These schools may well offer considerable amounts of merit money.
Third, I would look to any group connections you/daughter have and apply for any scholarships they may offer.</p>
