What sunblock contains the most defensive ingredient and full blockage against UVA/UVB rays? They say titanium dioxide is great but i wanted to know if we should look for another ingredient that is better and that i’m not aware of. any input is great, thanks

Look for a high SPF number. Water proof (or designed for swimming) is also helpful.

“Full blockage” of UVA and UVB rays is not possible, even with titanium dioxide.

Well I know it won’t block every absolute thing but it does block a good deal. meaning if you wear it then you don’t burn and in turn it protects you.

I heard eating blueberries and any dark food (blackberries) is also high in anti ox. and will protect your cells.

But I read recently that Zinc Oxide is the best, superior to that of titanium dioxide. But no sunblocks have that ingredient!

There was a recent NPR report with a dermatologist that discussed, in layman’s terms, the ins and outs of choosing a sunblock. Go to NPR.org and do a quick search. I can’t imagine finding better free information on the subject.
