So I am applying to ivies and I was wondering what is considered a good award? I have ap scholar and national merit commended which I know everyone has so it is subpar. The issue is the only other awards I have are academic all state for swimming, science Olympiad state, and general academic awards in my school. are those good enough for ivies. Also how good does academic all state look I never see people mention it
There is no way to answer this. Schools try to assemble what they consider a balanced class. Ivies don’t have a minimum requirement anywhere but your app has to be strong across the board. Apply freely and make sure you have a safety you love and can afford on your list.
