What is a good minor for an English/Technical Writing Major?

Major: English with a focus in Technical and Business Writing

Minor options that I’m interested in:
-Psychology
-Art Design
-Communications
-Creative Writing
-German
-Leadership
-Biology

I wanted Library Sciences but this school doesn’t offer it. :[
My plan is to get a job either in technical writing (medical-based), publishing or freelance writing(which I doubt will happen)

Out of curiousity (as my daughter is hoping to major in English with a focus in technical and business writing), where are you going to school?

I think if you want to get into medical writing, a related minor such as Biology would make sense. Around where I live (Phila area) medical writing is the one area where there are always writing jobs available. Still highly competitive, but better than other areas. And I do see ads for medical writers that specifically ask for a scientific major or minor.

For medical writing, a second major, minor, or courses in subjects like physiology, anatomy, genetics, physical education, and statistics are likely to be useful.
