What is a good SAT II US History score?

What would be a good SAT II US History score for a UCLA-level college?

This may be helpful: http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_fr/Frosh_Prof12.htm</a>
Basically, it says that UCLA doesn’t require SAT IIs. However, among those who choose to submit them and are accepted, the average scores are 743 and 700 (for highest and second-highest scores, respectively). I also remember reading some stats from Princeton’s admissions office which said something to the effect of “the average SAT II for admitted students is above 700.” So I think it’s safe to assume that a “good” US History score will be in that 700 range. Hope this helps!

I would agree with the above, but I’ve also found that for schools that don’t explicitly require a SAT I I test, your score has to be higher in order for it to make a difference. Typically, a score of that caliber is 750 or above.
