What is a good study strategy if I'm taking the SAT next October?

I will be taking the SAT very soon after school starts so I would like to know what some good study plans or strategies that could help me some.

Do practice tests from the blue book and do a lot of practice essays. That’s what I did to prepare for the test last October.

I will be taking the SAT in october too. Do you think its possible to lift my score from 1960 to 2250 if I work really hard, human997? I am working really hard.
