I have this bowl that someone gave me as a going away gift when I moved away from my first post college job to go to grad school 35 years ago.
It seemed quite expensive and extravagant at the time. Now I do not even know who the manufacturer is.
It has survived a million moves and several drops onto the floor. It must not be breakable.
