What is a Publication Request Form?

I got an email from a college with a link to the college’s Publication Request Form? Could anyone tell me what this is, does, or what it is for???

I assume it’s so you can get mailings from the college, such as newsletters and entreaties to apply. If you are interested, sign up. You might get an app fee waiver. Plus, it shows interest.
