What is a way that I can get ivy leagues scholarship???

I’m talking fullride btw

You have to get accepted (hard part) and be very low income.

So there is no other way other than having a very low income…?

Post your stats and people on this board will suggest some schools where you can get a full ride.

Ivy League Conference rules forbid merit based scholarships: http://ivyserver.princeton.edu/ivy/downloads/rulesummary/ivysummary.pdf

That means that each Ivy League school must give the same need based aid to everyone – athletes and non-athletes. However, each Ivy League school is allowed to define “economic need” by their own institutional formula, meaning schools with larger endowments (Harvard, Yale, Princeton) tend to give MORE need based financial aid to all students than Brown, Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell or UPenn.

This article gives the upper ranges at each Ivy League school, however students and parents should check with each school’s financial aid website to see if the dollar amounts listed are accurate: http://www.businessinsider.com/congrats-you-got-into-the-school-of-your-dreams-now-its-time-to-think-about-how-to-pay-for-it-2015-4

It also should be noted that need based financial aid for international students works differently than financial aid for US students http://www.internationalstudent.com/schools_awarding_aid/

You don’t need a new thread. Post your stats here. Some colleges offer need-based aid only. The income cut off for them can be fairly high (I think Stanford’s is ~$125k). Others offer merit aid for stats; some offer both, but others offer little or neither. You have to run the net price calculators on the college websites to get cost estimates for your situation.

How much will your parents pay per year? If your income is too high for need-based aid but they can’t/won’t contribute much, you need merit aid. What’s your home state? Is there a college within commuting distance that you can use as a safety?

Your other threads indicate that you’re looking for a full ride but might not qualify for need-based aid. I don’t think the Ivies offer merit aid (because everyone would qualify). How much can your parents pay per year?

Thanks for the info
