<p>Just getting back on CC after all the decisions are made and the paperwork sent in, then a family death. S did choose AC and I have to say after our visit over Trustee Scholars Weekend we could not be happier. We are coming the opposite direction from all of you SW Ohio and have the same concerns, but the fact that it is all highway makes it so much easier than most of the schools we looked at. At least for the first semester we are planning on doing the driving since he will not have a car, but he is only coming home on a limited basis. Truthfully, if there is bad weather air travel from Chicago eastward is going to be a problem and in talking with AC the medical facilities in Meadville while not comparable to Cincinnati are adequate and if there were an emergency I would want them to airlift my S to Pittsburgh (God forbid!!!). As parents we can’t cover every possible event that can happen, we want them to be happy and safe, but I also know he has to grow on his own. NOw that said ask me these same questions in August as I wipe the tears from my eyes lol.</p>
