What is an above average SAT/ACT score for UC's?

I was thinking around 30-1300 but im not sure.

It depends on the UC, the average at UCLA and Berkeley is going to be higher than the others, which ones did you have in mind?

You can look up the Freshman profiles for each campus (Avg SAT/ACT and UC GPA) using the link below. Just remember that these are averages for all students. Applicants for highly competitive majors such as STEM, need above the average stats for are a solid chance at an acceptance.
Also UC’s tend to be more GPA focused, so having higher than average test scores will not makeup for a low GPA.

UCSD, UCB, UCSB, UCLA is what I was tihnking.

Intended major? UC GPA? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
EC’s? In-state CA?

I want to do something in Bio engineering or Bio in general. Im in california, I am the Junior Class President, I am a member of 2 clubs that have to do with medicine, im going to create my own club, and I have 70 hours of community service. I have a 4.3 W, and 4.0 UW Gpa.

For BME, you want stats above the averages since Engineering/STEM are competitive. Look up the averages for your target UC’s and aim higher. The 2016 Freshman profiles should be out in August.

UCLA/UCB/UCSD way more competitive than the other UCs in STEM, but the others are still competitive. Virtually everyone has multiple clubs and leadership, be sure to have the GPA and test scores. For example, more than half that apply to UCLA have a 4.0 and above, and 91%+ admitted have that same gpa. It’s competitive, moreso in engineering.

@blueskies2day Do you know the admits for an unweighted GPA?

UC’s have their own GPA calculation, so you need to use this value.
