<p>This may sound bad, but I’m trying to get a particular scholarship (WUE if you’re familiar with it), and at the school I want to go to you can only be enrolled in certain majors to get the scholarship. One of the majors is “ethnic studies” and I’m not entirely sure what it is but it sounds like something that could be interesting, and as a hopeful pre-med, my major doesn’t technically matter anyways. Any insight or information about an “ethnic studies” major would be very appreciated. Thanks!</p>

<p>As a pre-med, be sure whatever program you choose allows you the flexibility to snag the sciences (and potential math pre-reqs) you’ll need. Humanities programs are very often heavily weighted toward massive reading assignments and long essays so time can be an issue.</p>
