What is AP? I cannot register in my country…

AP stands for “Advanced Placement”. It is a program put out by CollegeBoard where you can take classes within your high school, but college-level. At the end of the year, you take an exam, and are scored 1-5 on it. Your score determines college credit. And even if you do not do well on the exams, AP classes are rigorous and better than plain honors classes.

If you cannot take AP classes in your country, I would not worry about it. There are equivalents of that kind of thing, and colleges understand.

i cannot find AP center in my 3rd world country=(

^It’s OK. If you apply to universities in America and not have any AP scores, the admission committees will understand.

You are not required to take an AP course in order to take the AP exam for that subject. If you are interested you can look at the website for AP’s, [Learn About Advanced Placement Program AP Exams and Courses](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Get the Most Out of AP – AP Students | College Board). Also you might try e-mailing to find out if any AP exams are given in your country. Email to:
