What is best for writing programs? (software engineering I think??)

Well, my mind is pretty much dead set on iBanking but I really like writing computer programs and such so I’m a bit curious about this.

I know computer engineering is more about the hardware and involves more physics. What type of engineering is involved with mainly writing programs? Is there such thing as software engineering?

Yes. Also Computational mathematics, physics, finance, physics etc all use programs to solve scientific problems. Some schools have these programs.

Yeah, look into computational mathematics. It will combine your interest in finance and coding. You should also be good with math.

I mean, I have an idea of what type of job I would like if I ever would go down this route. Some type of software designer working at Microsoft or something, lol.

But I don’t like Physics so I don’t want to go into computer engineering which deals more with that and hardware. But yeah, I love math, so I’m going to look into computational mathematics.
