what is better clemson or UMD

what college is better for these majors computer science, IT, chemical engineering, bio- engineering, business, and economics

and my gpa is 3.4 (on 4 scale)
I have completed the MYP program, done a lot of DC courses, and around 5 APs. My other GPA is 4.45. MY sat scores i dont know because i just took it.

So what are my chances of scholarships to UMD (for clemson i already know).

Also I have a friend that has done MYP and the IB program. His GPA is 3.59 (on the 4 scale) and his other GPA is 4.56. In addition, his SAT score is 2090. So what are his chances of getting a scholarship into Clemson (he is a out of state).

help me out guys! thanks in advance

Is UMD in-state for you?

Visit each university’s website and use their search features to look for “scholarship”. This information shouldn’t be hard to find.

nah i live in SC, he lives in MD

Maryland is better for computer science and business according to US News rankings. Maryland is well known for their computer science program, and has a business school that is ranked around the top 30.

I wouldn’t go out of state for either of these schools without a scholarship though.

UMD is by far the better school

UMD business school is really great. my ex is there oos and got a bunch of decent scholarships his stats were higher than yours (sorry). but you do have a really good chance of getting it. dont know anything aobut CS for them. i know the engineering school offers a special scholarship that my ex had before he swtiched to business before starting freshman year (then he lost it)

sorry, dont know much of anything about clemson. had never heard of it before football season at BC
