What is Considered "Legacy" at Cornell?

If a Cornell applicant’s parent has a professional degree from Cornell (e.g., from Cornell Vet School) would the undergraduate admissions committee consider the applicant to be a “legacy” applicant?

legacy student is a student whose parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. graduated from Cornell (any program). You can let us know this information in the Common Application or the Universal College Application Cornell specific questions. Keep in mind that there are over 250,000 living alumni and so being a legacy is great, but you still have to be a great student!

Thank you. Although it is not explicit in the phrasing I would read “any program” to include any Cornell graduate and/or professional program or degree.
