Generally what the GPA cut-off is for Summa Cum Laude ?
like 3.95 ??

Each June, between 4% and 5% of the graduating class will be awarded
the degree summa cum laude.

is there somebody who know it ?

Thanks

I don’t have any data on this, but I would be highly surprised if 5% of the class had 3.95+. I would expect the cutoff to be around 3.85.

Usually 3.89-3.91, which I gathered from a source I’d expect to be reliably informed.

By relative comparison, the top five percent of Yale’s graduating class is ordinarily represented by GPA’s of 3.93 and higher.

Thanks a lot.
so I guess GPA 3.90 might be around 5% of the graduating class.
3.95 might be around 2 ~ 3% and 3.95+ around 1 ~ 2% based on some comments.
