What is important for Law School?

I am trying to decide between three schools; Ohio State University, New York University, and American University. My goal is to attend a top ten law school after I graduate, and I need to know if my choice of undergrad will really affect my chances of getting into one of these. If I go to NYU, will my application be considered more highly than if I attend Ohio State (and for a lot less money)? Also, if the choice were between OSU and American, which one should I choose?

School has little to no affect on law school admissions. Grades and LSATs are the most important things, with recs and personal statement also looked at. I would not go to NYU if money is an issue, it isn’t worth it. OSU and American are both good, but go to OSU if money is again, an issue.

Oh, and I’m in Honors at OSU, but not at American.

School doesn’t really make a difference. What you need is good grades and a great LSAT score.
