I have newly immigrated to USA this year and will be graduating from a school in Texas in 2013. I have achieved 2160 ( M:800, W:690, CR:670) and also gave the SAT Subject Tests (Math level-2:800, Physics:800, Chemistry:790).
I have previously given GCE O-Level and AS-Level exams under University of Cambridge achieving 7 A* and 3 A’s in O-Level and 5 A’s in AS-Level. I have also achieved World Highest in AS-Level Mathematics. I have taken part in several academic contests in Bangladesh achieving National awards in that. I am also involved with several academic and non-academic clubs here in my school in USA.
So what do u think my chances are of getting in a world class university like MIT and Stanford?</p>
<p>Sounds like you’re a math person. I would say pretty good chances for both of these schools pending that your GPA is high enough. Don’t be disappointed if you’re not accepted though, those schools are very selective and are a reach for anybody. Good luck with everything you’re a great applicant!</p>
<p>NYU should be a backup plan… if you can afford it.</p>
