New York City is a fantastic place, to say the least. It’s also one of the safest cities in the world – and perhaps the safest in the U.S. – according to Business Insider. (“The 20 Safest Cities in the World,” available online.)
Hows the weather?? Is it busy? Are people rude??
The weather is temperate. The people themselves are often busy, but can be easily engaged if you yourself are courteous. Abruptness is often confused with rudeness, but both exist. Each neighborhood is different. The City’s salient qualities are its palpable energy, cultural offerings (including food), cosmopolitan population and decided concentrations of what can only be regarded as classy people. Paradoxically, the City can also be somewhat provincial, partly because some people who live there can see themselves nowhere else.
