<p>what i did was add x, 2x-8, 2x+2, 3x-1, 4x+1 and set them to = 30. because only 30/5 equals 6. then i solve for x, plug it in, find out the 5 numbers and find the mode. but that took me a long time. is there a fast way to do this i’m sure the SAT person wont make a problem that time consuming…there MUST BE a shortcut…this is a difficulty 5 question. so if you can do this i praise u
