What is Program Leading to Undergraduate Success (PLUS)

Hi, I just received a letter telling me about Program Leading to Undergraduate Success (PLUS). Does everyone receive this letter?

My letter is dated July 5, 2009…so I am also wondering why I am getting it about 26 days after it is dated. And also since it says space is limited, I am wondering if I would be at a disadvantage if I got the letter so late.

Anyway, what does everyone know about this? Is it a good thing to be a part of?

Also, I looked it up online, and the eligibility requirements are from the website, if you are:
-A first-generation college student
and/ or
-From a low-income family
and/or
-Have a disability

I am wondering if I got this letter as a mistake because I am definitely not eligible for this program according to the eligibility requirements.

Okay sorry about all these questions, but it seems very strange I got this letter, especially since I am not eligible for it. So, I am guessing everyone receives this letter, but I just wanted to make sure :)

I would really appreciate any feedback. thank you!

I just received the letter in the mail today and none of the eligibility requirements apply to me. =T

same here
got the letter, but i dont meet the elegibility requirements

if you’re not eligible then you can’t apply for it. they probably just sent it to everyone

I meet the eligibility reqs…

Is it worth applying to? Any benefits? Maybe more scholarship opportunities?
