What is life like at Saint Anselm College? What is the student population like? Is the college preppy?
Were you admitted? For what major?
Or are you a junior considering applying or visiting?
Hi, I’m a junior considering touring-applying. I plan on studying business administration.
My DS and his girlfriend are grads from 2022/23. They were both Nursing majors but had friends who were Business majors who had good internships. The school was amazing for them, a very welcoming and fun place with plenty to do - from gingerbread making house contests during the holidays to parties in the “uppers” - where the upperclassmen/women live. Most students live all 4 years on campus and this was a plus as there is always someone around to hang out with or study with. Manchester when you are 21 has good bars and under 21 great places to eat. There is hiking nearby as well if that is your thing. It was a great 4 years for them - they also utilized the gym there a lot as well. A special place and I encourage you to visit and have a talk with admissions and find out what the Business department can do for you - we are looking at it again for Business for our 10th grader. If you are close enough to visit it is good to go to get the vibe to see if it could be a fit for you- good luck
How did your DS and his gf like the nursing program??? My daughter is considering going there.
They loved the Nursing program. Both are now working (both passed NCLEX easily within 2-3 months of graduation - Saint A’s prepares you like no other!). They were well supported and had great clinicals and both found jobs easily in the location they wanted. If you want to work in NE - especially NH or MA after grad this is the place. The great thing about Saint A’s now is that they are really positioning themselves as more of a health care related college and are growing in that area, getting a new nursing school etc.
