<p>What BU has that other schools don’t are certain combinations of things. The individual components may be found elsewhere, but when you combine them with other aspects, they become a little more specific to BU itself. It offers a personalized private school education (classes after freshman year become drastically smaller and more intimate), with a large public school-style community. You really get the best of both worlds there. Also, BU has more academic programs and departments than any school in Boston. It is great if you want variety and selection in your courses. We also have Agganis Arena, a 100 million dollar beauty of a place to watch hockey. I’m sure there are some more things, but these come to mind first.</p>
