I’m an international student and I’m pretty far away from applying to university but I want to have a better overview on it. My question is - do you apply to university and after being accepted do you get to pick what exactly you’re gonna study? or it is neccesary to name what subject you want to study on n application? thanks
@comearoundguy1 The following post should explain it fairly well:

Both. You can apply to a school and indicate on your application your intended major or you can decide on your major after being admitted - there are some nuances to it depending on the school as certain programs are competitive and may require that you apply to that program along with your general admission application (this is the case with nursing at a lot of schools.)
