I received a letter in the mail around the 26th but couldn’t read it until now because I was on a trip. Anyway, it says that I;m invited to a program called SuccessConnects that “connects me to success coaches” that will help me to mold my idea of collegiate success so I can meet my goals. It’s run by the Office of Academic Multicultural Initiatives. I obviously know what it is on this level, but I’m asking if it’s another mentorship program that’s aimed at specific students. Does anyone know what this is? Do you think it would be worth it to join?
I thought for a minute it was a scam until you said it was run by the university so that’s a plus haha. I’d try it! What have you got to lose? I’ve personally never heard of it nor do I know anyone affiliated with it, but any resource is a good resource, and an invitation makes it sound like it might be kind of coveted resource. Plus, you more than likely don’t have to remain committed to it if you don’t want to.
