Hi, what is TASIS like? my son wants to go to Switzerland for his final year but has to stick to the AP system. We are looking at Leysin, College du Leman and TASIS. Any information would be really appreciated. Its so hard to find real information out there. Thanks
I don’t know much about the original TASIS (lived in London, so we knew a little about TASIS England) or Leysin, but I would avoid Collège du Léman. We looked at it as a day option for our kids when we moved to Switzerland a few years back, and we weren’t impressed with the academic standards or the oligarch-heavy community. Our kids ended up at one of the Ecolint campuses, which had its own issues but did provide an excellent education. No boarding there anymore, so not for you, but I’d skip CdL.
