<p>If you wake up every morning like that, you’ll develop coronary problems or an ulser by the time you’re 22. Let your natural intelligence take its course and Harvard will welcome you next year. I didn’t take my SAT until junior year either. If you screw up, take them again, but prepare and plan on doing well the first time.</p>
<p>OK i have calmed down now- those chocolate chip cookies were good…I’m happy and calmer- like the hurricane eyewall is gone and I am left sitting in the eye…I make this analogy having experienced the wrath of Florida hurricanes…wow this year was insane!</p>

<p>chatterjoy87, luckily we did not experience the direct hit with the Charley storm with 145 mph winds, but we had some damage from Jeanne and Frances here in Tampa Bay. If we had been hit by Charley, my neighborhood would have been obliterated beyond imagination.
But the other two storms did enough damage to instill shock and awe,
Our home was very lucky, we only had roof damage with some tiles missing- mobile homes nearby and buildings along the beach experienced damage that was much worse
Wow, I never knew hurricane force winds could be so insane… we had 80 mph winds at the worst…although someone nearby reported a gust to 104. THis was my first experience with these very strange storms at category 1-2 strength.
SO TO THIS DAY:
Everytime I think about the SAT and the difficulty of getting a high verbal score, I imagine myself venturing into the eyewall of Charley, that very red core on the radar…I pray for those who experienced these storms at their worst</p>
<p>gosh, i remember in elementary school when i lived in texas (in tornado alley) we’d have all these drills and one year in third grade we had to stay cramped under our desks for 3 hours, waiting for a tornado that never came…slightly traumatizing for a kid, so i can definitely relate to the stress you’re feeling.</p>
<p>I pray for all those affected by the storm also.</p>
<p>I almost got hit by a tornado last summer at Buckeye Boys’ State. Fortunately Bowling Green (where we were staying) is one giant concrete mass, so no one was too worried. Weather can be some crazy stuff sometimes.</p>
<p>I hope we do not get a 2004 repeat in Florida, and statistics would say we get some hurricane relief- but chemical analysis, heat convergence and convective analysis indicates that Florida and the Gulf Coast (especially from NE Texas, New Orleans, Mississippi, NW Florida, The West Coast of Florida, even up the east coast and eastern FL) had better get ready for one HECK OF A WILD RIDE in the coming years.
BY THE WAY, MY GIMMICK ON MY COLLEGE APPLICATIONS TO HARVARD OR OTHER SCHOOLS WILL BE HURRICANES, THE STUDY OF THEM, and my own hobbies and analysis concerning why they form…</p>
