<p>Does anyone know the average GPA of current students at Emory College?
I’m not asking the avrage GPA of admitted freshmen, but about the GPA of students currently enrolling in Emory College.</p>
<p>There are some colleges that are known for grade inflation (maybe… Yale?) and for grade deflation. What about Emory?</p>
<p>as of June 2007 average UG GPAs:</p>
<p>Male - 3.245
Female - 3.349</p>

<p>From what I heard, you have to really work for your grade, but that it’s not too hard to get at least a B. Seems a bit contradictory, but maybe B’s are easy to get, while A’s are 10x harder.</p>
<p>It’s interesting that the average GPA is broken down by gender… I’m a bit surprised female beats out male by a tenth of a point. I’d have guessed more. It’d be cool to see what other trends among groups and GPA (e.g. race, SAT score, income level.)</p>
