What is the best university in Miami?

<p>Academically-speaking.</p>

<p>I have heard University of Miami and Florida International University. When I went to the university of miami’s website the middle 50% was 1250 - 1390, which seems almost lower than a lot of other colleges I’m looking at.</p>

<p>I plan on being a communications or public relations major, so I thought I should start looking into colleges in Miami (along with my other colleges in chicago and ny).</p>

<p>Although I haven’t looked into it much, I live in Florida, and know that UM is a lot harder to get into than FIU, and I’m pretty sure it’s the better school.</p>
