What is the coolest thing you got with your acceptance letter?

I got a bumper sticker from Virginia Tech. thats about it though. Figure some people prob got cooler stuff. If i were a college i would send shirts or hats with the acceptance letter.

absolutely nothing from penn state, udel, and george nason. i got into virginia tech last week but havent recieved the letter yet (just the online decision) so i guess ill get the bumper sticker too.

The 700-page+ course catalogue!

well..Babson's folder looks really really nice!

the MIT tube in december: with confetti, poster, hand-written note on the acceptance letter.
the MIT valentine's card in february.

Last year UCLA sent out the window sticker, which you could then slap on your car immediately.

At NYU if you showed up at the accepted student day they gave you a long sleeved black tee, a messenger bag, and a Not For Tourist guide book imprinted with NYU on the front. I thought that was very nice.

I got ....a sense of relief that there was a light at the end of my
HS tunnel and it was not a train bearing down on me ...:D

Harvard sends out a certificate, suitable for framing, indicating that you were admitted to Harvard. They also send out a car window sticker - apparently, the idea is to get the parents showing off the goods so that the student is less likely to back out? Finally, in the summer, their food service sends out cookie dough mix, baking instructions, and a cookie cutter in the shape of an "H."

i got a t-shirt from the university of minnesota-twin cities. even though it came a little later than the actual letter it was still nice.

i wish i got that package from harvard...lol i also wish i could get into harvard

t-shirt from charlotte...nothing special.

T-shirt from Yale and magnets from Stanford. Lol.

That's what I love about the University of Chicago; they give you a nice letter and folder, but they know what you really care about is what you'll be able to learn when you get there.

The only thing I've gotten besides the standard letter (and possibly folder) is a window decal from American; I've only been accepted to Wisconsin and American so far, so maybe I'll get something more interesting/cool from another school. Chicago did send me a course catalog before I applied though, which was cool!

when my sister got into bowdoin they sent her a sweatshirt and a stuffed animal polar bear (the mascot)

wow, cool! when did she get in?

2 years ago, 2006

I got a copy of learnlink from Emory.

Lewis & Clark sent me a magnet and a poster, which was nice (also heaps of flyers and stuff), and Mills sent me a bumper sticker and a Valentine's day card.

I really want a free t-shirt though...

Tennessee also sends a window decal. Other than that, nada from everyone else.
