<p>Do you really mean the median-quality school among thousands of undergraduate institutions in the U.S.? If you mean the average “elite” institution (top LAC’s, ivies and top non-ivy universities), a motivated, bright and hard-working student should be well -served at most in terms of admission to medical school and adequate preparation. Truly “average” colleges will generally have considerably lower medical school admissions rates.</p>
