???????What is the difference between these Colleges???????

What is the difference between Boston College and Boston University?

Also what are some good engineering schools that aren’t to hard to get into in the east???

They’re complete opposites.
BC is small, religious, football oriented, and has a real campus (it’s in the suburbs).
BU is large, secular, and urban, but lacks a real community feel.

As for engineering on the east coast, look at RPI and RIT. Neither are too competitive, but both have a good name in the field. Also look at Clarkson, and maybe Syracuse, depending on your stats.

It also wouldn’t hurt to check out what Rutgers has to offer; after all, instate tuition is a good deal.

BC is BEAUTIFUL!

Carnegie Mellon: it’s not quite the east coast and might be a reach, depending on who you talk to, but is a great school.

BC at 9,000 students isn’t exactly small depending what you’re comparing it to. While they both have about the same acceptance rate, RIT (avg SAT 1200, 30% of students in top 10%) and RPI (avg SAT 1320, 62% of students in top 10%) aren’t exactly in the same league. Might want to consider WPI as well, which is about half way between the two.

Clarkson. Also, excellent RPI accepts like 70% of its applicants.

sucks to BU =P
