If You Apply Early Decision

The major that you want to be in is the easiest, since you are passionate about it and you can show that in your essay.

I agree. The one that you are most interested in. Admissions can tell who is saying a certain major just to get in, after all it’s their job. I think the math works out the same in the end anyways. If you have 10 people interested in 1 spot for natural resources, it’s the same as having 100 people interested in 10 biological sciences spots.

Well, more pragmatically, I think Communications is pretty much regarded as the easiest.

I agree. The major that you show you want to be in and are the best fit for will be the easiest to get into.

That’s not true applejack

posts 2, 3, 5, and 6 are correct

^^^^^
You could have just said mine was wrong.

I knew quite a few Communications majors. They hardly ever studied, when they did it was for pretty simple, common sense concepts. I took some Comm classes, too, and found them pretty easy. Communications always just had a reputation as being comparatively easy a few years ago. Maybe it’s changed.

Aside from the obvious truth about what the other posters said with regard to one’s interest, I’m not sure which others would be objectively easier in CALS. Sorry!

OP was talking about “easiest” major to get in. Not easiest major academically.

Oh. Sorry.

PM me if you wanna know

the truth is out there, take it from somebody who has worked in admissions (me!)
